Welcome!

I'm a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) deeply committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based therapy to individuals and families seeking support and guidance.

I graduated from Harding University with a Bachelor of Social Work degree in 2004 and from the University of Illinois in Chicago with a Master’s of Social Work in 2006. Since then, I've dedicated my career to working with individuals, children, and families across various settings, with a recent emphasis on modalities tailored for children who have experienced early childhood trauma. Beyond that, as a foster and adoptive parent myself, I am intimately familiar with the day-to-day joys and challenges of raising children who experienced early attachment disruption. This personal experience enriches my professional practice, allowing me to approach therapy with a unique blend of empathy, insight, and practicality.

I bring a diverse toolkit of therapeutic modalities to our work together, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), mindfulness-based approaches, and trauma-informed care. Additionally, I'm trained as a Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Practitioner, an Attachment and Biobehavioral Catch-up (ABC) Parent Coach, and have expertise in trauma play techniques.

By integrating these methodologies with a strengths-based perspective, I empower my clients to build resilience, develop coping skills, and cultivate a deeper understanding of themselves. It would be an honor to walk alongside you in whatever season of life you find yourself, supporting you on a path toward health and well-being.
